Hey man- I asked for feedback so I can't get pissed for having you telling me how it is. In fact, you aren't the only person to tell me. My wife's first words when she came home today were- "Yeah- your mix--? It really sucks." So message heard. Ha. And I can't say I necessarily disagree with you. My bad, man. My bad. The worst part is I posted that shit knowing it wasn't up to snuff. So, my bad. Hey ex-listener98101- If you're still out there, give me another shot man... if you wouldn't mind, opinions are appreciated. But constructive comments are preferred. For anyone out there willing to give a dj another shot, stick around for another round. I'm coming up on my one year anniversary in October, and frankly, I'm shocked that I haven't disappointed myself more often. Anyhow, stick around. |

![]() About jamesonI've been at this for awihle now. My first posted mix was in October 2005 (Battle for Galactica). I was first posting VERY regularly, but I've increasingly slacked on meeting my own deadlines. Family responsibilities have taken center-stage, which isn't bad; I've just had to reorder some priorities... and how I tackle each and every mix. Early on, I was more concerned on how the mixes particularly sounded- not just the selection of music and transitions, but layering tracks together. -- mashing lite, I suppose. But that was an involved effort that, frankly, I was growing bored with. With a relatively limited amount of time with which to work, I found myself focusing more and more over time on JUST the RIGHT flow from one track to another. You can definitely hear this in newer mixes -- I have dropped my fear of silence and simply non-overlapped segues. I hope you enjoy the product(s) you have before you today.
